Centaurea Dealbata

Centaurea dealbata is a clump-forming perennial Cornflower, commonly known as Bachelor’s Buttons. It bears an abundance of lavender-pink flowers from midsummer, irresistible to butterflies and pollinating insects. Centaurea dealbata quickly forms dense clumps of large, ornately cut foliage. Planted en masse they knit together to form fabulous swathes of ground cover. A fuss-free perennial that’s perfect for herbaceous borders, cottage gardens and wildlife areas. Height: 90cm (36″).
