Semi-double, golden yellow blooms adorn this attractive coreopsis throughout the summer on neat compact plants. Coreopsis grandiflora ‘Sunray’ works well in both annual beds and perennial borders, where its luminous flowers are produced in profusion. This tickseed plant also makes an excellent addition to mixed patio displays and is attractive to bees. Height and spread: 45cm (18″).

Grow Coreopsis in a sunny or semi shaded position on reliably moist, well drained soil. Coreopsis plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to water logging.
Water regularly until tickseed plants are fully established. Deadhead faded coreopsis flowers to encourage more to be produced throughout the summer. In autumn, remove old foliage and faded flower stems. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost around the base of the plant in spring.
